How to Post (indepth)

It is easy for Museums, Galleries and Artists to list their exhibitions and events on studio-online. To do so, just follow the instructions below.

Studio-online editors will review the material and post it to the site. Please include at least one image or photograph. For events, we accept listings prior to the date and photographs taken during the event for possible posting.

1. Click on the REGISTER tab.

2. Enter a Username and your e-mail address, then press Register. A password will be e-mailed to you. Your e-mail address is for internal use only, and will not be shared with a third party.

3. Select the SIGN IN tab.

4. Enter your Username and Password, then press Login.(Use the password e-mailed to you.) You will be taken to the main STUDIO-ONLINE screen.

5. On the data entry page, you will see at the top menu: Dashboard, Write, Manage and Profile tabs. At this point, we recommend that you first update your profile.

Please change your password to something you can remember but don’t use your initials, birth dates, etc., etc.

6. Once you have updated your profile, press Update Profile (located on the lower right).

7. Now select the WRITE tab to write your first Post.

8. Write the Title of your event, exhibit or show, as shown.

9. Enter two to four paragraphs of copy. Please do not enter entire press releases. We require the name and complete address of the venue; telephone number; and Web site address. Consult current posts as guides.

10. When you are done entering text, press Save and you are done. We’ll do the rest.

Photos should be e-mail to listings@studio-online.com

Make sure you use the Title of your Post as the Subject.

Photos can not be larger than 400 pixel wide @ 96 dpi.

How To Post

It is easy to post your exhibitions, events, biographies on studio-online. Just follow the instructions below.

1. Register, sign in and update your profile. (When you’ve registered, a password will be sent via e-mail to you.) Please use this password to log in.

2. Select the Write tab and enter the Title of the event. Then add two to four paragraphs of copy in the space labeled Post. Please make sure to include the following details: event date, institution name, complete address, telephone number and Web site address.

3. Press Save and you are done.

Please e-mail images for the exhibit and/or event, along with captions, to listings@studio-online.com Use the Title of your entry as the Subject.
